Northern Lake Shore

The Northern Lake Shore offers the most dramatic scenery with stunning cliffs, private coves and crystal clear waters. Chintheche offers some of Lake Malawi’s best beaches and there is also a Bandawe Mission site very close by so you can get your dose of culture too. Nkhata Bay was discovered by David Livingstone and is the most Northernly point of the Lake where there is a focus on the fishing activity. Karonga is also worth a visit with a museum with dinosaur skeletons found in Malawi.
