Welcome to Deception Valley Lodge set on 15 000 hectares of private reserve, on the northern bordering Central Kalahari Game Reserve in the prime Kalahari destination in a stunning location overlooking the waterhole.
Deception Valley comprises 9 spacious suites chalet with 6 Luxury Suites, 2 Family Suites and 1 Deluxe Villa. All rooms have fans, coffee and tea making facilities, vanity kits, bathrobes and slippers.
Each chalet has en suite bathroom including victorian baths and outdoor shower - to admire the African sky, as well as a private lounge and verandah.
This lodge is professionally run by the owners who aim to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The reserves extensive network of tracks makes it possible to track lion and leopard by vehicle by night and by day. A chance to see some of the magnificent Kalahari lions.
The owners who grew up with the San people can show you more of the way they used to live and survive and take you through the treasure-trove of the Kalahari and introduce you to the mammals, birds, reptiles and insects that form part of the fascinating panoply of their desert world.
