Camp Okavango is situated on the remote Nxaraga Island in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta. This hidden treasure, in the middle of the world's’ biggest inland delta, assures its guests of an unparalleled year-round water wilderness experience.
Camp Okavango main lodge is made of traditional thatch and lethaka (reed) and features a cocktail bar, lounge and a wildlife reference library. Delicious meals are served in the dining area which leads to an expansive open-air patio for evenings around the firepit.
The accommodation at Camp Okavango is comprised of 11 East-African style safari tents and 1 Suite ideal for honeymooners. Each tent is built on a raised teak platform and benefits of a spacious open air viewing decks. All the Safari Tents are boasted of en-suite bathroom comprising of a shower, hand basin and toilet.
Other features of the tents are small safe, fans, tea & coffee facility, a range of African bio degradable soaps and other bio product to pamper yourself with.
