Lion Camp is an independent lodge situated in the heart of South Luangwa National Park on the banks of oxbow lagoon 40km away from the busy Mfuwe area.

The 9 specious chalets are built on raised wooden platforms connected with the main area by raised wooden boardwalks. It is great to ensure guest safety while still enjoying a close encounter with the wilderness. Elephant, hippo, bushbuck are frequently seen on the lodge territory. 

Each chalet has either a twin beds or a king-size double bed, walk-in mosquito net, luxurious en-suite shower and a private terrace overlooking the open plain. 

The meal time at Lion Camp is a social event filled with camp stories, healthy and diverse food. Apart from spectacular game drives Lion Camp offers to its' guests to enjoy an infinity swimming pool, library, snooker, bar and fireplace.

Along with many species of mammals, South Luangwa National Park boasts one of the largest concentration of hippos and crocodiles in Southern Africa, and the game drives and boat cruises offer visitors the opportunity to witness this amazing spectacle. Moreover the park is special because of its' leopard viewing and thornicrofts giraffe.
